Malaria No More, co-founded by Ray Chambers and leading NGOs, has launched a new policy and advocacy center to galvanize government support to fight malaria.
Malaria No More (“MNM”) has a simple but ambitious mission: to end deaths due to malaria. The world has known how to prevent and treat this deadly disease for more than a century, yet it remains the number one killer of children under five in Africa, claiming more than 1 million lives each year. MNM works to raise the profile of the disease at the grassroots level and among key policymakers and business leaders. In late 2007, with the help of Endeavor Group, MNM launched a new policy center headed by Laurie Rubiner, former Legislative Director to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Ms. Rubiner is widely praised on the Hill for her ability to navigate the Congressional legislative and political process. She is now putting her talents to work in support of promoting U.S. leadership in the global fight against malaria.
